What is Kumkuat?
Kumkuat is an audience-intelligence platform for corporate communications, investor relations and public affairs teams. It turns the people who shape your reputation, such as journalists, analysts, legislators, customers and employees, into synthetic audiences built from public sources. You can score any document against those audiences, talk to them, pressure-test a narrative, draft content with their feedback, and receive scheduled digests when something changes.
Kumkuat is a workspace-based web application at app.kumkuat.ai. One workspace represents one company, with its own audiences, documents, members and API key.
The three loops
| Loop | What you do | Where in the app |
|---|---|---|
| Research | Simulate how each audience reacts to a document, an earnings script, a press release or a draft. | Audience Dashboard, Audience Scorecards, Audience Surveys |
| Optimize | Interact with the stakeholders that matter, close proof-point gaps and sharpen the message. | Audience Chat, Narrative Testing Studio, Content Writing |
| Share | Generate intelligence reports and keep the team informed automatically. | Reports, Compare Narratives, Alerts, Slack and Claude integrations |
A map of the app
The left-hand navigation is grouped into four sections.
- Audiences — Audience Dashboard (grades and trends per audience category), Audience Scorecards (score a document), Audience Chat (talk to one persona or a focus group), Audience Surveys (structured ratings).
- Narratives — Compare Narratives (executive and company comparison across themes) and Narrative Testing (the studio, its runs and reports).
- Tools — Content Writing, Chat (the platform assistant), Alerts and Reports.
- Library — Projects, Communications (your documents), Themes and, when enabled, the Audience Library and Comms Sources.
The Marketplace and this documentation open from the bottom of the sidebar. Workspace settings live behind the cog in the top bar, and the info icon on most pages opens a short video walkthrough of that page.
