Auto tags and aliases
Auto tags are applied to every document as it arrives so you can filter your library and scope alerts, reports and comparisons. A new workspace starts with four: CEO, Communication Type, Company and Executives. Packs from the Marketplace can add more, such as Crisis Mention, Product Launch and Signal Relevance.

Managing tags
Open Auto Tags in workspace settings to switch tags on or off, edit a tag's definition, or generate a draft for a new tag from a description. Ensure reapplies the current tags to every document; Status shows how much of the library has been tagged.
Aliases
If a CEO or executive goes by several names in your documents ("Jensen Huang", "J. Huang", "Mr Huang"), create an alias so they are grouped under one title.

Choose the tag the alias applies to, set the Target value (the final name returned whenever any alias is matched), and list the aliases. Apply Normalization rewrites existing tags to the target value; suggested aliases are offered when Kumkuat spots likely duplicates.

Where tags are used

- Entity tagging in the Alerts composer.
