Narrative Testing Studio
The Narrative Testing Studio runs a message through your target personas, finds where it lands and where it falls short, and produces a polished, branded report. It is the deepest analysis in Kumkuat, and the one designed to be shared with leadership.
What you put in
- A brief — what the narrative is trying to achieve and for whom. Briefs can be saved as templates and drive the methodology of the run.
- The narrative — a document from the library, a pasted draft, or a file you drag in.
- Audiences — a panel, a category, favourites or a hand-picked set.
- Options — attach a knowledge base for the evidence step, and switch web research on if you want fresh, web-sourced evidence for the gaps that matter.
What happens
- Stage A fans out to every audience. Each persona judges the narrative against a calibration rubric so judgments are consistent across the panel.
- Stage B analyses the whole panel in two passes, runs a swap test to check the findings are about the narrative rather than the audience, and checks the integrity of every piece of evidence it cites.
- Gaps are identified, including greenwashing as a discrete gap type, and each gap gets Evidence to deploy cards telling you what to add. With web research on, closable gaps are supplemented with sourced evidence cards carrying the publisher and date.
- The report is rendered.
Progress and an estimated time to completion are shown while the run executes; a run that stalls repairs its own progress from the job table.
What you get
- A clear verdict on where the narrative lands and where it falls short.
- Gap analysis with evidence, and evidence-to-deploy cards per gap.
- A whole-group scorecard and a focus-group chat with the same audiences.
- Exports: an interactive HTML report, a PowerPoint deck styled to your brand template, and a memo format.
- Compare against the previous version of the narrative.
