The busiest period so far. The app got a new home page, one Settings area with roles and permissions, a redesigned Audience Chat, the Scorecard Composer, a guided workspace wizard with a Status page, and a large performance pass.

Home page​

The home page was rebuilt around what you come back for.

  • Pinned audience groups with a synthesised per-persona summary, and favourite personas you can star from anywhere.
  • Open projects chips and latest audience reactions, scoped to your company.
  • A configurable Get Started section with illustrated cards, editable by admins.
  • The chat bar suggests where to go: type what you want to do and it offers the matching page instead of redirecting.
  • Illustrated header artwork and a greeting that uses the name from your profile.

Settings, roles and permissions​

  • One Settings area. Personal settings (Profile, Appearance, Notifications, Security & API keys) and Workspace settings (General & branding, Members & roles, Features, API & integrations, Projects, Models & provider keys, Grounded context). Old links redirect to the new place. See Workspace settings.
  • Roles and a permissions matrix. Admins can see and change what each role may do. Members can create and edit personas and themes by default, and a clear message explains it when you reach something your role does not allow. See Members and roles.
  • Appearance. Interface style presets under Personal, the Kumkuat style as the default, and dark mode across Settings and the legacy admin tools. See Appearance.
  • Upload a workspace logo as a file, not only a URL.
  • Workspace switcher sorts by recent or name in either direction, with your current workspace always on top.
  • Invitations: admins can hand over the invite link directly when email is blocked, names are optional, and member management is a permission.

Audience Chat, redesigned​

  • A new chat surface with a sidebar of conversations, a persona picker as chips or a grid, a voice-register pill, and proper empty states.
  • Files in this chat. Attach private files to a conversation and the persona grounds its answers on them.
  • Focus-group chat on the same surface, and per-message feedback.
  • Structured reactions render readably, with a React / Conversation mode toggle. Past chats can be deleted.

Assistant Chat​

  • Grounded in your workspace content, with citation chips that open the source, starter questions, and streamed replies.
  • The assistant can look things up for you: recent signals, themes, entities and audience data.
  • Retrieval searches the whole workspace corpus, blending relevance with recency.

Audience Scorecards​

  • Scorecard Composer. A single page to build a scorecard: choose audiences and a document, see recent runs in a drawer, and share deep links. It replaced the classic wizard on 16 July.
  • Messaging guidance is collapsed by default with a visible expand pill.
  • Private by default. Scorecards you generate, and documents you upload to Narrative Testing, are private to you unless you share them. A colleague's shared scorecard opens as theirs rather than forking a private copy.
  • History clicks load the exact run you selected, and renamed personas show their current name on older reactions.

Personas​

  • Persona editor: progressive disclosure with a sticky section navigation, in-place save with unsaved-change indicators, one unified test panel, info icons on every section, and a single Links & Sources section. The System Prompt section was removed.
  • Social and external links on personas with platform logos. Find social profiles covers LinkedIn, X and Bluesky, and you can quick-add a profile or website from the listing.
  • Bulk spreadsheet upload maps social links and external sources, and updates existing personas.
  • Ground a persona on files you upload (PowerPoint, Word, text, Markdown).
  • X and Bluesky as knowledge-base source types.
  • A Managed badge marks personas connected to the Marketplace.
  • The Marketplace can be browsed read-only before joining a workspace.

Setting up and running a workspace​

  • Add Workspace wizard. Four steps: company and competitors; audiences and themes, with the ability to deselect suggestions; backload presets and features; invites. The wizard suggests Marketplace personas to install and proposes new ones where the catalog has no fit, creates a newsroom knowledge base for each competitor, and skips ticker-only steps for organisations without a ticker.   • Workspace Status page. An onboarding checklist, coverage per knowledge base with document date ranges, job-queue health, and gap actions that fill gaps in one click.
  • Filtered content. Hide off-topic communications by tag: link any auto tag as a filter, scope it to particular values, and hide or show individual items from the context menu. Deactivated tags no longer act as filters.
  • Knowledge bases can be deleted from their card, and show when an action is running. See Knowledge bases.
  • Rename documents, and no more URL-derived default titles.
  • Alerts: delete individual alert runs, emails render as real HTML, delivery failures are shown as failures instead of a green badge, duplicate digests are prevented, and model and latency details no longer appear in digests.
  • Claude Desktop and Claude Code: a downloadable install bundle with a one-click link on the integration page. See Claude Desktop and Claude Code.
  • A public feedback channel, linked from the home page.
  • Executive and company pages that gather what each entity has said across your library, with a hub, an edit panel for aliases, and per-workspace curation. Enabled per workspace. See Entities and executive voices.

Faster and more reliable​

  • Pages load much faster. Heavy audience endpoints are batched, responses are compressed, fetches run in parallel, persona lists are slimmer and paginated, the home page serves cached data while it refreshes, and the first visit to a large workspace no longer stalls.
  • Sign-in: friendlier timeouts, and a database hiccup no longer signs you out or reports the workspace as inactive.
  • Invite-only sign-up no longer dead-ends at the login page, and a failed sign-up rolls back cleanly.
  • PDF export restored.

Fixes​

  • Content Writing: drafts no longer inherit an uploaded file's name as their title, headlines land in the headline field and literal markdown markers are gone, unsaved edits survive navigating away, and generation is grounded in your organisation.
  • Documents: search applies to the list and its total, and private uploads stay private to their owner.
  • Auto tags no longer store code fences or model reasoning as values.
  • Crawler: JavaScript-rendered listings are retried, cookie and legal pages are skipped, sibling subdomains are allowed, and successful fallback crawls are no longer reported as failures.
  • Press releases carry their real publish date, are de-duplicated, and pass an issuer-relevance filter.
  • Scorecards: an absent grade is no longer shown as a C, superseded scorecards are no longer averaged into aggregates, and the Recent runs drawer is ordered by run time.
  • Alerts: raw JSON no longer appears in notification bodies, and truncated digests are salvaged rather than dumped.
