Your own provider keys now carry your workspace's model calls, the app moved to its own host, grounding questions learned to fan out across whole categories, tracked executives became content voices, and two larger pieces began rolling out workspace by workspace: Projects and the Audience Library.

Bring your own provider keys​

  • Workspace provider keys are live. Add an OpenAI, Google Gemini or Anthropic key under Workspace settings → Models & provider keys and every call your workspace makes to that provider runs on your key and your account: chat, reactions, surveys, narrative tests, alert digests, and background work such as tagging, signal extraction and embeddings. Providers without a key keep using Kumkuat's accounts.
  • Keys are masked after saving in the app and the API, and are never written to logs. Use Unset to return a provider to Kumkuat's account.

The app is now at app.kumkuat.ai​

The signed-in app lives at app.kumkuat.ai. Bookmarks and links to app pages on www.kumkuat.ai redirect automatically, and www.kumkuat.ai is now the public site. See Sites and links.

Grounding questions at scale​

  • Bulk-add grounding questions to personas by category, by panel or by hand-picked selection. Paste questions one per line, pick a refresh cadence, preview exactly which personas will receive them, then add.
  • Variables in questions. Write {{company}}-style placeholders and Kumkuat fills them from the workspace company profile; a question whose variables cannot be resolved is skipped rather than asked blindly.
  • Change a question everywhere it lives. Editing a question updates every persona that carries it.
  • Marketplace link sync merges grounding questions instead of overwriting them, so questions you added locally survive a catalog update. Customising a catalog question makes that persona your own copy.

Favourites first​

  • Starred audiences lead every picker: the scorecard composer lists them first, a ★ Favourites chip filters Audience Chat, and the studios put the category holding a starred audience first.
  • Researched persona builds run in the background, with a bell notification when each persona is ready.

Executive voices​

  • Tracked executives become content voices. For executives in your own company, Kumkuat builds a voice profile from their verbatim statements and offers it in Content Writing. A Content voice toggle on each executive card controls this.
  • The CEO is added automatically for new and existing workspaces as statements accumulate.

Audiences everywhere​

  • Persona avatars now appear wherever an audience is the subject: the scorecard composer, reaction cards, and the audience-test strip in Content Writing. Personas without an image get a consistent initials monogram.
  • A refreshed light theme with softer surfaces on the newer pages.

Projects​

Projects group everything about one initiative: its documents, the scorecards, narrative tests and surveys run on them, a default audience, and early signals from your sources.

  • Project hub with document capsules and versions, six action tiles with the last run shown on each, a Runs & results box you can view by audience, run type or time, and an early signals rail.
  • Project band. While you work inside a project, a band at the top of action pages shows the project, its working document and an Audiences dropdown listing the project's default audience. Runs started from the hub attach themselves to the project, and the band hands a finished run forward into a report.
  • New-project wizard with the same three steps available later as project settings, paste-in document versions, and an add-context nudge.
  • Remove a document from its capsule (the document and its runs are kept), the project band on the hub itself, an Audiences dropdown that acts as well as lists, and a lighter add dialog.
Rolling out

Projects are enabled per workspace. Ask your Kumkuat contact to switch them on. See Projects.

Audience Library​

  • Panels. Organise audiences into named, reusable panels that appear in every picker, with favourites and a category rail for browsing everyone in the workspace.
  • New-panel wizard. Describe the panel and the AI drafts it, or hand-pick; add audiences one at a time or by pasting a list or uploading a sheet, with duplicate detection.
  • New category from the foot of the Audience Library rail.
Rolling out

The Audience Library is being enabled workspace by workspace. See Audience Library.

Fixes​

  • The panel wizard's category list no longer collapses to hairlines.
  • CEO auto-add no longer considers competitors' executives.
  • The in-app walkthrough button uses a question-mark icon.
